Another controversial review! Yes, I am a big fan of both Fuddrucker's and Outback when I want some grilled meat. I know that these are not exactly foodie, but they taste good to me and the service is consistently great - and that's what matters in my opinion! Outback has added quite a few options to their menu lately, so if you haven't been there in a while you should consider going back. This location tends to get a bit busy on the weekends during peak hours, so be sure to call ahead for a reservation if you don't want to wait a bit. I recommend their filet mignon, and you can't beat a loaded sweet potato for a side. Their new mac&cheese is also fantastic, and they've added a skillet caramel cookie with ice cream to their menu that is amazing! I also love their sangria, which comes in a little ball jar and is just the right amount of sweet and boozy. A great summer drink! If you're considering a steak-night, check your local newspaper or RetailMeNot for any coupons available. There are often deals at this restaurant. Additionally, they have a frequent diners club at dine-rewards where you'll get plenty of goodies to help you save money on your meal.

Well i may not have great things to say about this outback after having dinner here. My menu was falling apart (1st bad sign) then my wings came out & i noticed they were more like fried drummettes without the normal seasoning we get at Outback. The butter on the bread seemed old or curdled well something was obviously not good because a few hours later i was sick as a dog service was good. Food not. Yuck

I don't really know why the quality of the steaks have declined in recent years, but I have been really annoyed at how thin the steaks are. I ordered the 10 oz. ribeye (Cooked medium) and although it was tasty, it was only about 1/2 inch thick and somewhat dry. It was not near as bad as the ribeye I got at Lone Star, however I was still disappointed about the thinness which added to the dryness. I think I will stick to Longhorn or Texas Roadhouse.

Came with my girlfriend for dinner, I heard good things from a friend. I question that friendship now.. Service wasn't great, bad even and the food we got we had to send back because it was barely warm. The menu said somthing like they use many different spices for a unique taste. They must have skipped that part on ours, they ad little flavor and had the consistency of an overcooked, frozen for to long burger. Not a huge fan of chain restaurants and this reminded me why

This place I have to say was way better 5 years ago. It seems the quality of food and service has went down. My parents took me here for my birthday. We waited about 40 minutes which I still to this day do not understand since NO ONE else was waiting for a table. Oh well... The food was just okay in my opinion. I just felt like the quality of the steak and lobster was so fast food that I could have went to another restuarant to get a better quality of food. The portions were small and the waitress seems busy with her own personal life to acknowledge anything else.

The stars are only for when I get intense cravings for their amazing Aussie fries and prime rib (which have been going down hill) which is the only reason i'd eat here. Service is consistently slow.. Not only at this location but all the outbacks I've been to.

Called ahead. Got here at designated time. We were told 15 to 20 minute wait. We're still waiting for our table 40 minutes so far. Don"t ever come here!

I came here this past Friday night with my husband, when neither of us wanted to cook after a long week (even though it was a short week due to Memorial Day :) ) We had a few gift cards here so we thought we might as well call ahead and get a table. I'm glad we did, because this place was hopping! Our server was great - she was attentive without being overbearing, and funny too! Outback had updated their menu from the last time we were here and had quite a few healthier options which was great. I ordered the skinny margarita (very sweet, but still tasty) and the Simply Grilled Mahi with steamed veggies over rice. Everything tasted great. Sometimes the larger chains overcook their veggies, but they got it just right. My husband got the Victoria's Filet, which I had a bite of, and it was delicious! We also went through about 4 or 5 loaves of bread with a side of their bloomin onion sauce (which I have to start making at home!)

My husband I have gone to this Outback for a few years. I have seen the quantity of the food decrease. My 6 oz. steak was so small. I want to bring a scale and weigh it next time. My brother ordered a rib eye and questioned the waiter on the portion. He had one at another Outback and it was much larger. This last time he ordered crab legs and one leg had no meat in it. He went to the other Outback and emailed me a picture of the crab legs and they were large and full. This Outback has gone down .

I really enjoyed this one compared to another one I went to. The atmosphere was nice, it was up to date, and clean compared to the other one I went to. As far as the food, it was great especially for the price. I've been to more expensive steakhouses and the steak here was better than those! It was cooked exactly how I asked and was nice and juicy.

Tucked away in a strip mall, this outback location is easy to forget about. As a guest for the Yelp Elite event hosted here last night I was one of the lucky people who were able to taste test a new bar menu being launched on Oct 9. Delicious coconut shrimp, BBQ chips, flatbreads and nachos were tastefully accompanied by equally delicious drinks. I will definitely be coming back with my husband to enjoy this new menu.

This location is just above and beyond other locations. We came here Saturday night when it was freezing and it was packed with a wait time of 45 minutes. We decided to wait. They brought menus to people. Then they served free samples of the bloomin onion with sauce to all the people waiting! Then I saw the manager (I think she was a manager because she seemed authoritative and was in business clothes) actually pitching in and helping get all the tables ready quick. They have this new nachos plate that does not advertise that there is bacon on it so we asked them to send it back and they brought a generously full new one minus bacon. It was a pretty good experience for a chain restaurant in the suburbs. We were so amazed by the great customer service at this location. There is plenty of parking in the lot but not close enough to the door haha. They have a bar with televisions as well as regular seating. The food was 3.5 stars tops but the service really made this location stand out and earned them the 5 stars for being a chain but acting like a unique customer oriented business!

I am a little shocked at all the good reviews. I went there after experiencing Texas Road house and wanted to see what it was all about. The portions are very small for a steak house. I ordered the shrimp appetizer and it consisted of 8 small shrimp. They were very tasty however. My steak ( 10oz rib eye) was very tiny and not that flavorful. I was very underwhelmed, it was fatty and thin. But hey, maybe it was suppose to be like that. The garlic mash was delicious and the other side dishes were really good too. But I wasn't happy with my steak and I was hungry later. The ambiance and the server were alright, no complaints there, but she was not overly friendly.

Won't come back - long wait for a table that I can understand. Long wait to see any server even to order drinks and then when she gets to the table and is rude - unacceptable. Left and went to another restaurant instead. Sent them my concern via email and it took them forever to get back to me after they forgot about me the first time. Perhaps it is time for a new team at this location.

I took my mom here for her birthday. We were seated quickly, probably because it wasn't peak hours yet, but it definitely got busy while we were there. My mom ordered a seafood dish and I had the 10 oz Ribeye with a salad and mashed potatoes. After ordering, I noticed the waiter didn't ask if I wanted it cooked on wood burning or traditional, but last time I got wood burning I didn't like it as much as I thought I would, so I figured it would be fine if I got the classic version. It took a good while before I got my salad. The waiter came by when I started eating it and he said, "Did you JUST get your salad." I said yes, but didn't make a stink about it. I think he was surprised too but as long as it comes before my steak, whatever. He then came back with two refills of our lemonades. I'm guessing it was his way of making up for the salad being late, but we weren't even close to finished with our current lemonades. I had barely made a dent in mine and if you've seen the size of their glasses, they're huge. My mom always feels badly about leaving a full beverage, so she quickly sucked hers down so she could get started on the next one. Our food was cooked pretty well. I have to say, though, that Outback uses way too much pepper on their steaks. This is the second time I've had an overseasoned steak at an Outback. I'm pretty sensitive to spices as the simplest amount of spice will set my mouth on fire, so by the time I was halfway through with my steak, I was thankful for that additional lemonade. Outback is a chain, so it's not always going to be the best, but it's decent for what it is. Maybe I've been spoiled by delicious steaks I've had recently at fancier places that Outback just doesn't do it for me anymore. Their pumpernickel bread is still great though. I'll never get tired of that.

I like Outback. It's not gourmet, It's not putting on airs, it's just solid food at reasonable prices. If you "Like" them on FB or sign up on their website, you'll get rewarded with coupons--what's not to love about discounts for good food? This location is good. Our service here has always been good save for a recent visit when our server was not attentive at all, we had to look for him as he never seemed to be around. But for the most part, we've never had a problem here. I've come with parties as large as 10 to just a party of 2. And if you have kids? They anticipate your needs. Walked in with the baby in his car seat and right away they were off to get the sling. Now that he's a bit bigger, they ask if we need a child's menu or some crayons--which is hilarious because he's too young for that, but still so nice because they ask anyway. Food is good. It's not Morton's but it's solid food and served hot. Salads are always fresh and the brown bread is very good. My favorites here are the ribs and coconut shrimp. Their margaritas are yummy. The restaurant is clean and well kept. Nice bar area. It's a chain, so you can expect the same food at other locations. This location though stands out because of their service--save for the recent hiccup, they've always been good to us here.

Looking for a place to wait a long time for a blooming onion.... look no further. Although its a chain restaurant there isn't any other location near by so if your jonesing for a piece of meat and decent sides your at a good place. My only issue is with the wait at times, salad being floppy not crispy and the lighting. I understand the cozy feeling.... but this is just too dark for me at times.... we hiding something? just saying.

This was a nice location. I haven't been to Outback in quite a long time, as I used to be a strict vegetarian. Due to some medical issues, I've been instructed to eat meat again. Hey, let's go to Outback! It was my first steak in 17 years. It was OK. I probably had it cooked a little too thoroughly so it was a bit tough. I guess eating meat still freaks me out a bit and I didn't want to chance it and do "rare" when this whole thing is a pretty new concept to me again. The waiter, Daniel W., was very nice and very accommodating to our group. The manager even stopped by to check in on us. The service was excellent and overall, the food very good. All of my friends enjoyed everything they ordered. We are not in Villa Park too often, but I enjoyed our massages at Happy Feet in the same plaza. It's a great evening out with the girls to get the massages and then catch up at Outback for girly chit chat afterward!

Just another example of how we are getting ripped off! If you go there and look at the menu for baby back ribs. You can get either a full "order" or half "order" of ribs.NOT full slab or half slab! A full order is 7 bones that is a half slab @ $16.99. The half order is 4 bones @ $13.49! That's a quarter slab. Buyer beware they dont tell you when you ask for a full slab they reply "So you want a full "ORDER" then?" Leave it to Outback a select grade steak house to get 3 servings out of a slab of ribs! Not returning we just had a gift card to use up. Dont waste your money on this chain.

Full disclosure: My best friend works here...so I feel that I cannot review the service (which I thought was excellent...(but helloooooo bias!) Anyways, I can certainly review the food and beverages. Standard Outback fare with the usual chain casual dining specialties...So I'm perusing the menu and even though I know that the blueberry martini rocks my happy little world...I ordered the margarita flight. yes a flight for only $5.95. Three cute little taster shots of mango, pomegranate, and original margaritas in a funky little stand made my pre-meal just a little bit happier. (Hmmm...should I put this in my margarita monday list? it's not a Mexican restaurant by any stretch of the imagination....Let me know.) I ordered the prime rib medium rare with horseradish sauce. My sides-the chopped pecan blue cheese salad and baked sweet potato with all the toppings on the side. The salad is so good it makes my mouth water thinking about it right now, even though it's 7 in the morning. The prime rib was still mooing, as well it should be, and the horsey sauce had a hint of dill in it, which was delightful. The sweet potato was perfect (though how anyone could screw that up is beyond me.) Of course, the skimped a little on the brown sugar, as the put it underneath the butter...then again, this could be my pal's doing, so I'm not going to complain ;-) If I hadn't been so damned stuffed, I probably would have gotten dessert...but meh. I ate the whole piece of meat. We'll call the sweet potato my dessert. Overall a delish meal. Thanks Outback.

My friend took me here for my Birthday and although I have been here once long time ago, I have to say this is not a bad place to go. I enjoyed the food, it's not fancy or anything like that, just pure good food. The staff was continuely checking on us and making sure we're taken care of. I definitly have nothing bad to say about this place!

We came to celebrate my husband's birthday. We were extremely impressed with our server Kevin. He was funny, attentive, respectful, and had good timing. Excellent service! The food was good too but I think when we come back we both will try something different. But we really appreciated the service. Thanks!

Ok, well I have never been to Outback. Maybe just stopped in there to pick someone up and once I tried going there for lunch with my friend but they didn't open up until 4 pm! Downer.... But I finally went there for dinner. It was not really what I expected but it hit the spot. It hit it kind of hard actually. Like any other steak house they bring you a bread basket and for some reason we never learn and always end up getting an appetizer. So before we actually get the main course we're stuffed. Steak and potatoes that's usually what I end up getting at any of these places. My boyfriend got coconut shrimp which were just ok. My Amiga got wings and her husband got something off the gluten free menu. Our server was very friendly but kind of serious. The bad kind of serious where it gets kind of awkward, but hey, maybe he had a bad day. I'd visit again but it wouldn't be my first choice. O_ o

  • Logan C.

Outback has a Gluten free menu available upon request, they even carry a gluten free beer for those of you that are interested. Our server was very nice and even told us that when they put in our order, there is a button they push to indicate that the meal needs to be gluten free and it shows up about 10 times on the ticket for the chefs. I thought that was interesting and it was good to know that they were looking out for us. We were seated right away and got our food pretty quickly even though our server was quite busy. Knowing they have a gluten free menu kicks up a 4 star review to a 5 star. We will be back simply for the convenience and care that Outback provides.

Four reasons I go here: #1. (Of course) Their bathrooms are the best I have EVER been to. Sometimes I make an "excuse" just to go there. They are high class and smell good (and without there being a bathroom attendant to tip). #2. They have one of my favorite dishes of all time: The Outback Burger. mmm hmmm. reminds me of their bloomin' onion (my fav apptzer). #3. The staff is FRIENDLY #4. Their booths are long and comfortable. phew. It's so good here that I actually get a workout because I'm eating so fast. Burn the cals here hun! I'm writing the managment at Yelp to let me rate this a SIX.

We went here a few weeks ago and had a great dinner. I like that on their menu they have 500 calorie options, and they are designated with a little symbol. We had the bloomin' onion as an app, that onion is so good! Everything was great, although there was an odd thing that happened at the end with the tip. Our bill was $43, and we had $10 out and we were waiting for her to bring back the card that we used to pay with. The server set the check book back on the table and picked up the $10 and said "thank you have a good night". What if we wanted change, or what if that wasn't for her?? (it was, but that is besides the point). It was so odd! Made us laugh though!

I recentely had two experiences in curbside delivery, one time they were actually 30 minutes late on when they told me to pick it up. That was last time I will ever use them. Two other times they forgot items in order. Manager handled the 30 minute situation like a child. His name was Sergio. How he was a manager I can only wonder. Never again.

I have not been to Outback in a very long time. I remember I used to think it was okay and you could get some pretty tasty and satisfying meals. Everything we ordered was awful, I was so shocked I couldn't even bring it up to the waitress. The meal presentation looked like one of those cheap awful frozen meals from the grocery store ( the cheap ones, not even the lean cuisine ones). The pictures on the menu were not nearly similar to what you were served. The taste was awful, super salty, old, not fresh, just beyond awful. The kids grilled cheese was made from cold bread, and a slice of cold processed fake cheese product. It was very disappointing.

This is definitely one of the nicest Outback Steakhouse restaurants I have ever seen. My aunt and I stopped by for an early dinner on a Wednesday and we were lucky to enjoy their Wednesday special which had a 3 course meal at special pricing. I got an 8 oz steak along with a soup and dessert for $15. My aunt got the firecracker salmon with a soup and dessert for $15. I think it was a great value and the service was awesome. They were very attentive and we did not have to wait long for our food. We also shared a stuffed mushroom appetizer and it was okay. I would pass on this next time around. Their bread (the dark bread) was really yummy, I don't know what it is called but it has a semi sweet flavor to it which balance well with the salted butter. The ambiance is dimmed lighting and all the furniture looks much nicer than other chained restaurants. Definitely a nice place to take your family out for a nice casual dinner. Total of the bill came out to less than $50 for 2 people, which is a decent deal for a nice dinner.

Great for the kids. Seated and the host dropped off like 12 coasters for the kids to wing around while he got menus and crayons. Kids ended up playing go fish with them at first! Server greeted us right away and pace of food was perfect. Appetizer came out quick, dinner didn't arrive until the appetizer was done but not long after. I tried the Teriyaki Sirloin medallions over rice and liked the glaze very much. I suspect the powerful flavor of the glaze might be too strong for some though. Kids had steak medallions and the ever rich and creamy Mac & Cheese. I also like the fact the server suggested some flavor syrups out of the bar for our iced tea as we wondered if they had other flavors besides raspberry. Wife got the standard fare, Outback special with a bleu cheese wedge salad. Ever the bargain it always has been.

The thing about Outback is that they're, overall, consistent. I have eaten at OB in several Chicagoland locations, Indiana, Vegas, Honolulu even Guam! and every time with very few exceptions have I been steered wrong. Sure, there is an off night and I get a bad steak or cold Broccoli but this stuff happens. However, I go to OB so often, I can attest to what I say initially. Outback keeps their menu dynamic, they have a good beer selection, the staff are always courteous and prompt. I mean, it is how it is, it's a chain. This location though, in Villa Park, is a little better than some others I have experienced. I usually sit at the bar and the bartenders are very good. There is one in particular, I forget her name but she has clovers tattooed on her wrist is a little more exceptional than the norm. Also, their reward program is actually pretty beneficial. I think it is like every other visit or maybe 3rd I get 1/2 off (not including alcohol). I am usually anti-rewards/loyalty/have a card to save/download an app person. I am like why in the heck do I have to Do Anything? how about you extend the savings based on the fact I am there? However, I do carry this particular rewards card. Thanks Villa Park OB for being good enough to keep me coming back. One complaint though, if I was talking face-to-face with the CEO of Outback, I'd grab his arms, shake him violently and yell KEEP THE CLAM CHOWDER YEAR ROUND!!! ;)

Went here for dinner with hubby and we had a great meal. We started off with the blackberry sangria. It was disappointing in that most of the pitcher was ice and it wasn't even filled to the top with sangria. For $15, we would expect a little more. In hindsight, I should have complained about this. But it was REALLY, REALLY good. They serve it with mason jar type cups. Hubby had the teriyaki filet skewers and there was some fat on the them. It came with a house salad, with not enough dressing. The outback sirloin with unlimited shrimp was what I ordered. The steak was excellent - no fat, cooked medium, it was moist with flavor. The garlic butter shrimp were ok, but they were only lukewarm (the butter in the dish wasn't even completely melted, it was congealed in the corner). The crunchy shrimp were good. The veggies that came with were very plentiful and cooked perfectly. They pieces came from big veggies, too, no tiny carrots or broccoli. We also the mini mason oreo dessert which was really yummy and light. The bill was just under $60. We would definitely recommend Outback for a decent, inexpensive steak dinner.

Service wasn't that great. Dinner was mediocre and room temperature. Tortilla soup tasted burnt. Outback never honors TV commercial specials.... Our martinis were too sweet.. Maybe this last visit was just an off-day for everyone?? I've been to this Villa Park location only a handful of times throughout my life, but never completely satisfied. I've dined at the Chicago location on Higgins Road, much better experience but worst parking situation.

This place is a complete hit or miss. It's either really amazing or a complete waste of time. There is no consistence what so ever. How are you labeled a steak house and not be able to cook a steak properly. It shouldn't take 30 minutes to cook a medium rare steak. I'm very disappointed in this place. The brand as it is seems to have a good menu but a staff that can't execute it.

  • Nicki S.

I had the pleasure of eating here on a whim. I must say that our server was sweet and we were seated immediately. However that was the only positive part of our entire dining experience. Food took too long to get out (30+ minutes) and when the food did come out it was cold AND they didn't get the order right. Instead of making a scene about it I just asked for the order to go and will give it to any hungry looking person I see next. I will not be eating here again.

Hands down best cheese fries. The sirloin is always good but very inconsistently cooked. I suggest ordering it undercooked to what you usually order.

  • Sham Y.

This is my last visit to Outback. Our steaks were overcooked, luckily mine wasn't as dry as my wife's. The waiter was extremely slow, let's just say that he took our main course by the time the table behind us finish their dinner, and we got their first. Poor service, slow, didn't ask if the food is ok and took forever to process our bill.

    (1)
  • Jean K.

I used to love this Outback location...but we went a few times over the last few weeks and their food was nothing like what it used to be. They removed things off their menu - what happened to the Pork Chops? The steaks we ordered were mediocore. I admit, we got the Outback special...but for $13-14.00 you can get an excellent steak that was better then some of the high end places around that you'll pay $30.00 for. These steaks were what I expected to cook at home. The service as always was excellent...and if it were not for that fact I'm not sure if I'd give this a great review...but I'm not sure if we will be returning there anytime soon and this was our bi-weekly place to eat.

I have been frequenting this Outback since 2008 and have never had a negative at this place. Its staff is friendly and helpful and its cooks are fantastic as every meal has been cooked to perfection! It's a great place for a fun date night or a big meet-up between friends after a long day or week. The bar is well stocked with good libations and bartenders go above and beyond to get you the drink you want (even if you just made it up as I did!). If you are in the area and have a hankering for a steak or even chicken, go here. You won't regret it.

I wouldn't be writing a review for Outback if it wasn't for such a positive experience I just had there the other night. I'm the kind of person who doesn't fuss over my food, I like what I like and tend to keep it simple when it comes to food, so this is more of a commentary on the service... My boyfriend had a gift card for Outback, and so we went out one night to this location and the service was exceptional! We were constantly "checked up" on and our waiter anticipated everything we needed next, bread, drinks, the check, etc. The whole staff was just very friendly and we were very impressed! The food was fine, nothing to rave about or complain about. Outback tends to be pretty consistent in the quality of their meals. Anyway, 5 stars for this Outback team!

The food was Outback standard, which is fairly good and a decent value. I like Outback. Cut 1 star because the service was unusually slow that night. They must have been short staffed. There were empty tables but we didn't get seated for a half hour+. They knew it & people waiting got a free appetizer. But even when we got seated the meal was slow. Some nights it would not have been so obvious, but we wanted to move along that night.

Ok, please note....I am giving Outback Steakhouse 4 stars based on what it is and what they're trying to do, please do not weigh this review against the restaurants I normally review. This Outback Steakhouse was in Villa Park, in a strip mall. And oddly, I've been to this strip mall before, I once had to buy a bridesmaid dress from Irena's Bridal. We arrived around 7pm and there was not a wait, and from what I understand, this is a rarity. We sat down in the bar at a booth and Isaac was our server, very sweet, young "surfer" type. Isaac was very helpful and professional. We tried the blooming onion and it was not very good, I would not eat it again. I ordered the filet, medium rare (it was cooked medium) and with that I received a salad and a sweet potato. My steak was only $18.50 for a 7 oz steak and both of those sides. Ultimately, I thought the steak was very appropriately priced for the quality. Not the best steak I've ever had, but for the price, certainly worth it. It was good.

I had the Promegrate Pear Martini, it was pretty good. My husband had the New York Strip and the steak was cooked perfectly. I had the filet with the vegetable, and garlic mashed potatoes. Quite tasty. We had the Dessert sampler and were very pleasantly surprise it was more than enough for two, and actually a great price. Three dessert and they were not tiny, tiny. Yeah!!

My wife and I have become regulars here. Reasonably priced steaks and we do enjoy the steak shrimp combo. They also have specials at times beyond their regular menu items. We like the sweet rye bread that they serve which is fresh and has a very good taste.Their bloomin onions are quite a treat especially with the sauce and goes well with their burgers. Service has consistently been very good.

Consistently good. It's not the best steak in the world, but a good-sized, delicious steak with a salad and a side of steamed broccoli for $9.99 is a great deal for a casual dinner.

ate at this loc tonight. we love outback and always order the same thing- fried mushrooms, prime rib, baked potatoes and caesar salads. unfortunately our prime ribs were lukewarm, potatoes were tiny and salads were watery. definitely not the same quality of food as the ones we have visited prior. along with that our server stayed at the booth behind us chatting about a party her and her friends had been to. several times she did not fully listen to our requests and failed to bring us what we needed. she let our drinks sit at the bar, letting the ice melt while she made sure her friends at her other table got their beers promptly. water was never refilled, never asked if we wanted another round of drinks fr the bar. all in all a very poor experience and we definitely will not be returning to this location again. we never saw a manager to talk with or a formal comment card. just know that this location does not compare to any other we have dined at. very very disappointed.

This Outback is alright food wise... most Outbacks are pretty consistent in that arena. I have noticed that the host staff isn't quite as friendly as most locations where they run to open the door for you, etc. All in all it's probably one of the better suburban chains I frequent, and I do love me a good chain.

First time at an Outback. Went for my grandma's birthday because she likes it. Blooming onion was gross. Steak and lobster was average at best, but was reasonably priced. My wife had a wedge salad. She enjoyed it but the plate was too small and crowded. Good service at this location.

You'll get a decent steak for the price. It definitely is no Magnum's or Gibson's steak but it's good. The lobster was very chewy, not good. Best caeser salad I've found. Bread is excellent. Cocktails are just okay, nothing special. Service is usually pretty bad but the last time we were there the waitress didn't check on us even once in over 30 minutes. They weren't terribly busy so we complained to the manager. The manager apologized and that was it. If you're looking for pretty good food and want to spend under $70 total for 2 people, this is the place.

Food was good, service was not very friendly and seemed rushed, and the long wait on a Monday night was not worth it. Especially when there were at least 12 open tables. They were probably understaffed. For what we paid, I would have preferred to eat at Wildfire.

My husband and I went there yesterday for dinner. I ordered a filet which was pretty good. My husband got ribs,(very good) and a salad which he never got.... The waitress was very bad, she didn't offer any refills, we both had to ask for them! We value good service and we will definitely not come back there. One advice- hire some new staff who actually care about their customers.

Yep, it's a chain so maybe you know what you're getting. I'll limit it to this. I recently got the $16.95 Outback steak and it was very, very good. $2.50 Miller Lite Drafts on special...you had me at "welcome to Outback" Service always good. Yes there's often a wait.

I don't usually review chain restaurants because one is like another. Same thing with Outback. It's like the others, nothing earth shattering. Their steaks are good for the pricepoint. I will say that I truly enjoy their lobster tail and always have to have it when I go. Service here has been friendly every time I've been. I have never felt rushed. I've been here on a date, I've been here with 4 kids (very much not a date), and every time the quality and service are consistent. Is it a top notch expensive steakhouse? No. Is it good? Yes.

I have been avoiding reviewing national chains for the most part because , who hasn't been to most if not all of them by now? My kid inquired whether I would review it because it's one of his favorites ,so I agreed to. If you have a kid of steak eating age , this is one of the best / nicest places I found I can go for a consistently good time and great food. By no stretch of the imagination is this place a 5 star steakhouse per se , but as far as chain restaurants , I found it to be the best. I've been operating under the premise that every type of restaurant has to be judged against it's peers , and not against each other. Gigios pizza is a 5 star place in my book , so is Lawry's Prime Rib, because each is the best I've been to in their prospective areas of expertise. I give Outback this mark because it is the best of a really mediocre bunch. My family isn't as adventurous as I in their eating habits , so this is a place we can all go and be sure to eat well , and love everything we get. I have tried practically everything on the menu by now with few exceptions, and I have liked or loved everything . The few exceptions are; the crab dip.It is a newer item , and it wasn't so bad , but I got really sick after eating it. I will avoid it like the plague. The ribs were good but I was not a fan of the bbq sauce they use , it is really weak. That's about all my gripes. Some favorites are ;the prime rib (favorite 1a),Rack of lamb/ lamb chops(favorite1b), outback style prime rib(grilled), grilled shrimp, honey mustard chicken sandwich(wow, really yummy), cheeseburger(great), the ribeye, salmon ,their fish of the day (swordfish, mahi mahi), coconut shrimp , and the seared ahi tuna. I can say that every one of these were excellent every time I ordered them. Do not compare this to any gourmet place , see it for what it is , and enjoy.
